What data we collect and why
When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. We use it solely to send you the Cogitavi newsletter — research updates, new publications, and field intelligence — no more than twice a month. The legal basis for processing is your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
How long we keep your data
We retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe, your data is deleted from our systems within 30 days.
Third parties
We use Buttondown (buttondown.com) to manage subscriptions and send emails. Your email address is stored on their servers. Buttondown's privacy policy is available at buttondown.com/legal/privacy.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time by clicking "Unsubscribe" in any email. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
